Obituary

MAHASIN AMIRAH(HABEEBULLAH) LEAKwas born on March 26,1978to Malik and DianeHabeebullah in Baltimore Maryland. She departed this lifeunexpectedlyMay1,2020 and her favorite saying was "GodGot Me" we know that he truly has her now!



She receivedher education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Mahasin attended Western High School part of the graduating class of 1995. Afterhighschoolshe continued her education at Coppin State College - University. Mahasin decided to take time off from her studies when she became a mother to raise her children. To provide for her children, she became a Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA). She enjoyed caring for the elderly while working at Future Care and with the encouragement of several clients and staff members she re-enrolled at Coppin to pursue her nursing degree. One of Mahasin' s Proudest achievements was while being a single mother of four she was still able to graduatesumma cum laudeas a Registered Nurse with BSN degree in May 2005.



As a Registered Nurse she worked at several healthcare facilities throughout the state of Maryland. Her mothering spirit lead her to take a position as a school nurse for Baltimore City Public School System. After working for several years as a school nurse she realized her true passion in nursing was caring for the elderly, so she transferred from the school system and became a Community Health NurseIIfor Baltimore City. Mahasin was often complimented on her kind and nurturing heart which showed through in her professionalism and work ethics. She loved caring for people and often boasted "One thing for sure I am good atisNursing."



Mahasin's children were her everything and all that she did and achieved was for them. Her family was always first in her heart and actions. She enjoyed the family tradition of going out to dinner to celebrate each family members birthday. She created traditions with her own family such as game night and the annual family cruise for the holidays. Mahasin married Warren Leak and enjoyed attending Raven's games with him and the kids. Mahasin loved to travel and found peace and adventure in places she visited such as Germany, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and Bahamas to name a few. The simplest things in life made her happy just sitting by herself enjoyinga glass of wine or even chatting with family and friends, laughing showingoff her big pretty smile. She will be missed dearly. Mahasin loved everxone, and she showed it each time she left your presence by making sure togive you a big hug and telling she loved love you. ·



Mahasin leaves to mourn her parents, Malik 1st and DianeHabeebullah, her Greatest Creations her "JAYS" Jamel, Ahmad, Yasmine and Sakinah Bishop (children's father ShawndelBishop);her siblings,Shalonda, Malik 2nd and Musheerah Habeebullah; threenieces, sixnephews, one great niece, husband Warren Leak; hostof aunts, uncles,cousins, friends, professional colleagues and clients.
