Major Lee George, beloved son of the late Anna Mae Hamilton and Daniel George departed this life on Sunday, August 31, 2014. Major was born November 3, 1943 in Sumter, South Carolina. Major came to Baltimore, Maryland in 1956 to finish his education in Baltimore Public Schools. Major worked for Ayer Corporation for over 40 years. In between time Major met Mary Ruth Lee the mother of his chil- dren. He leaves to cherish his memory:three sons, Vincent George, Gregory George and the late Micheal George; three daughters, Kaira George Hudson, Kimberly George Butler and Cassondra Webb; 1 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 sons-in-law, John Hudson and Gerold Butler; two daughters-in-law, Charmaine George and Carlesia; 3 sisters Clara Thompson, the late Francis Pressley and Virginia Smith; 1 brother, Nathan Hamilton.
