Malissa Jane Brown, was born on January 27, 1951 to the late James and Eleanor Brown. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life. Malissa could accomplish anything she set her mind to do. Her interest included family, cooking, reading and playing cards. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiving to family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Howard and James Brown Jr. Ms. Brown is survived by:her three sisters, Delores, Janice and Twinette; five brothers, Charles Took David, Tyrone, Wayne and Ricky; four sons, Pedro, Demetrius, Jermaine and Jonathan; and their spouses, Emily and Nicky; fourteen grandchildren, Michael, Paul, James, Noah, Lil Meatie, Teon, Shyiem, Damonziare, Kadedra, Shadedra, Tyona, Jawuan, Moneah and Janiya; three great grandchildren, Isaih, K'dynn and Ky'la; eight nieces, Yvette, Trevette, Tara, Jamara, Cheronn, Ariel, Latoya and Kenyada; four nephews, Jafar, Lil Ty, Tyree, and Micah; and a longtime companion, Reggie and a host of other family and friends.
