Mamie Miles, daughter of William and Marie Saunders, was born on July 15, 1932 in Severn, Maryland. She departed this earthly life on September 15, 2008, to see how long eternity will be. Mamie, who was affectionately called "Mane," enjoyed staying home watching television and doing various chores around the home. She got the greatest of joy when the grandchildren and great-grandchildren came by to see her. She did not have a regular fellowship with the church, but she acknowledged Jesus as Lord and Savior! She lived with and through great adversities, and in the end she became victorious, because "The Battle is the Lord's" I Sam. 17:47. She leaves to mourn; her daughter, Lillie Conley; two sons, James Scott and Joseph Scott; son-in-law, Raymond Conley; daughter-in-law, Anna Scott; sister, Marie Lewis; brother-in-law, Calvin Galloway two sons preceded her in death, Larry Galloway and Wallace Galloway; eleven grandchilden and thirteen great-grandchildren; a special great-niece, Deesa Makel; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
