Daughter of Ronald Smith (Dad) and the late Ernestine Bake/, stepmothers Edie & Sharon Smith. Marcia was Born on December 20th 1956. She departed peacefully on May 4th 2024. Growing up,
Marcia was the oldest sister to Richard Joyner, Melvin Phillips and Cherie Martin. She received her education in Baltimore Citv Public
School Lake Clifton High School. She dedicated herself to Magic Unity Group Home for girls for 27 years. She was affectionally
known as Grandma.
Marcia accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at Bible way Freewill Baptist Church. She also Fellowship NBA
Church under Pastor Jean Campbell.
Marcia leaves to cherish her memory her husband Charles Drew, late son Irving Pery. Surviving children Jerrold Smith, Yekita Young,
Tanieria Christian, Tyrone Drew. Brothers Richard Joyner and Melvin Phillips, sister Cherie Martin, 2 stepsisters Deon & Dana
Marshall, 1 stepbrother Scotty Marshall, Aunt Deloris (Elaine) Sewell and a host of nieces & nephews. Brothers-in-law Marshall
Boyd, Clarence Martin, Clifton Hargrove. Sisters-in-law Nicole Hargrove, Stephanie Drew, Antoinette Boyd, 1 daughter-in-law Pritailla Peay, 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a host of loving cousins, and a special cousin Tamurra Christian (Moo), best friends Gwendolyn Holloway and Diane Nelson along with a host of cousins, family & friends.
