Marcus Derrick Lemon , son of James Lemon J r. and the late Rowena Davis, was born on January 27, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland. He suddenly departed this life on May 5, 2017.
Marc was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools, and went on to receive his GED. He culminated his education with a Commercial Driver's License certification from All State Career College. As a child, Marcus gave his life to the Lord and was baptized at the Greater Refuge Temple Charismatic Church of God in Christ in 1977, under the leadership of the late Bishop W. Ernest Nelson.
Over the years Marcus worked various jobs, including as a cook, construction worker, and truck driver. Most recently, he began a promising career with Beyond Design. Marc enjoyed cooking, listening to music, going on family outings, playing cards, having fun, and being loud. He will be missed for his bold sense of humor, famous banana pudding, and resounding catchphrase "Shawday!"
His mother, Rowen Davis; sister, Margo "Cup" Lemon; brother,James "Jamie" Lemon; grandmother, Norita Wallace; aunt, Surena Lemon; and uncles Gregory Wallace, Leon and Herbert Lemon, preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, James Lemon Jr. (Gwendolyn); daughter, Tamara Lemon; sons, Mark and Harold Lemon; brothers, Jerrick Eades, Khary Lemon (Keli), George Nottingham (Nicole), and Mike Alston (Desiree); sisters, Atiya Lemon, Zeevelle Nottingham-Lemon, Anitra McNeely and Kim Mitchell; grandson, Marshall Lemon; uncles, Eugene Lemon, Samuel Wallace and Donald Brown; aunts, Anniebell Mitchell, Rhonda Wallace Smith (Joe), Angela Lemon, Rosalind Holiday and Andrena Carter; three nieces; five nephews; twelve grandnieces and grand-nephews; a number of cousins who were also like siblings to him; along with a host of other family members and friends.
