Marcus Burton Monroe, the son of the late Burton Monroe

and Mary Jackson was born September 09, 1962. He put his

heart into Gods hands on August 11, 2019

A Time to Live ...

Mark, as he was affectionately called, received his

education in the. Baltimore City Public School System. He

worked as a welder for Baltimore City Public School System. He

accepted Jesus Christ as his "Savior" in 1989.

Mark was the life of all "Family Functions" and every party.

He would walk in and yell, "Hey Family" and from that point on,

his many jokes would begin and not end until the party ended.

One of his many famous sayings was, "Don't write a check with

your mouth that your behind can't cash." Mark looked out for

all of his family, and would give the shirt off of his back to

anyone that needed it. He will truly be missed.

Mark is preceded in death by grandmother - Nelly Thomas,

aunts - Rachel Simms and Denise "Neicey" Thomas, uncles -

Gregory Ferrell and Anthony Nelly, and little cousin Mya

Thomas.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother - Mary

Jackson, daughter - Kristian Monroe, brother - Kevin Monroe,

three sisters - Lolita Jackson, Jasmine Green and April Ennis,

two aunts - Deborah Murray and Hazel Ferrell, two uncles -

Mike Murray and James Hurd four nieces - Niesha Jones,

Kierston Fletcher, Kayla Johnson and Kindra Monroe, three

. nephews - Kevin Monroe Jr., Michael Gasque and Terrance

Jones Jr, and a host of relatives and friends.
