Margaret E. Shorts was the daughter of the late Mary E.
Shorts and George Campbell. She horn January 23,1944
in Baltimore MD. She married Clarence Day in 1965.
Margaret departed this life on December 29,2015 after
a lengthy illness. Margaret received her education in
Baltimore, MD. She worked several jobs; North
Carolina Mutual, U.S. Post office, Rite Aid, as a pharmacy
technician, before starting her career in Food Services
in the Baltimore City School System. She retired in
2012.
Margaret was a Mother and friend, who gave more of
herself than she ever asked for in return. Her
compassion and strength to endure will forever astound
those who knew and loved her. In life, she enriched our
lives with her forgiving nature and loving heart.
Margaret was a great bowler and she loved football.
She could sing too! She loved to cook and more than
that, she loved to see the joy of everybody eating.
In death, she has left us memories that will forever
remind us, that to love, is to give of yourself completely,
without any reservations or expectations.
Margaret leaves to mourn, three loving sons, Richard E.
Kesler, Darryl L. Day, Clarence S. Day, three daughters
in law, Ergestia Kesler, Helen Day and Tamaria Day,
three sisters, Bernice E. Sampson, Irma M. Boyd and Ella
Eggleston, a host of grandchildren, great-children,
nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Viewing Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
