Margaret C. Henson, daughter of the late John Edwards and the late Margaret Scott Jones, was born on July 30, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on January 14, 2007. Margaret, affectionately known as ''Peggy,'' was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She 2as educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools earning her high sschool diploma from Carver Vocational Technical High School. There, she was taught the trade of cooking. She was able to demonstrate er culinary skills at several restaurants in Baltimore. Cooking was not just her trade, it was her way of bringing her family and friends together. Her weekend breakfasts, holiday feasts, and summer time cookouts would certainly gather more than a few. Peggy's soulful cooking will truly be missed! She would always top off each gathering with her ''Oldies/Goodies'' music. At aan early age, she was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Claver. She joined the late Henry Henson in Holy Matrimony, and out of this union three children were born: Kenneth, Michele, and Donna. Peggy was also blessed with her baby girl, Sabrina. Peggy touched everyone's heart in a maternal way. She was everyones's Mom! Later in her life, Peggy became a full time Grandchildren, Ahmed and Raven. Recently, she rededicated her life to Christ, and accepted God as her Lord and Savior. Those left to cherish loving memory of Margret ''Peggy'' Henson include; son, Kenneth Henson; three daughters, Michelle Henson, Donna Henson and Sabrina Friend; two sisters, Louise weldon and Edna Robinson-Miller; eight grandchildren, Anika, Juma, Jabari, Shani, Oba, Charles, Abmed and Raven; five great-grandchildren, three life-long friends, Vicki King, Frank iller and Romaine Bouldin; a devoted son-in-law, Curtis Torbit; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
