Margaret (Boonie) Elizabeth Reedy, daughter of the late Rudolph and
Doris Butler, was born on February 11, 1929 in Baltimore, MD. She
departed this life, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

Margaret was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She
accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and served as a member
of Union Memorial United Methodist Church since 1993. She was an
active member of the Gospel choir and always helped with Thanksgiving
distribution.

She was known as both Boonie and Nanny to family and friends. She
met and married her late husband, Fleming Reedy. Margaret worked
many years at Forest Haven Nursing Home and John Wesley Nursing
Home. She did a lot of volunteer work and was recognized with
numerous citations and certificates for her outstanding work.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Fleming Reedy; brother:

Rudolph Butler (Elizabeth); sisters: Thelma Thompson, Dorothy
Sellman and Norma Holly (Raymond Sr.); sons: Donnae Reedy Sr. and
Michael L. Reedy.

Margaret leaves to cherish her memory: her four daughters, Celestine
Cole, Francine Whittington, Betty Reedy and Rosalee English; two
brothers, James E. Dudley, Jr. (Maxine) and James E. Dudley III
(Cereta) and 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 20 great-great
