MARGARET ANN RICHARDSON (HUGGINS), daughter of Lucy Lee Jones (Dixon), was born on May 20, 1940 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She departed this life on May 25, 2013 after a brief illness. Margaret was a true friend and a very kind-hearted person. Many who knew her, called her "Huggie". Margaret was an outstanding cook, and she would have feed the whole world, if she could. She was known to most around her neighborhood as "Mama," because of her love and generosity. Her sweet potato pies were well known as far away as Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her sense of humor and personality, left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was preceded in death by: her loving husband, Arkey Richardson; a daughter, Vernita Richardson; and a beloved grandson, Nathaniel McFadden. In addition to her mother, she leaves to mourn, a very large and loving family: two daughters, Janet Jones (Huggins) and Carolyn Huggins; three sons, Anthony Huggins, Darnell and Corey Richardson; two daughters-in-law, Yolanda Richardson (Darby) and Cipriana Richardson; one brother, William Jones (Stephanie); three sisters, Ruthie Huggins, Sarah Moreland (Isaac) and Sandra Jones; her grandchildren, Taneha, Nathaniel, Aneisha and Corey Richardson, Charmaine, Pierre, Montcreal and Brent Huggins, Donald and Andre (Shameika) Southerland; two special friends, Wendy Jefferson and Alberta Brown; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and other relatives and dear friends.
