Maria Manulita C. Singletary was born on May 26, 1961 to Sandra Jean Singletary and the late Clarence Turner Sr. God called Maria home to be with the ones she missed so much, such as her oldest son Eddie Smith ( Pete ). Her grandmother Josephine Campbell who she loved so much. Her sister Rachel, her brother Clarence, Eugene, Rodney, cousin Athena, uncle Samual Singletary, aunt Alice Singletary, and Alice Redford.

Maria enjoyed her life to the fullest. She loved to listen to music, read books, cooking and most of all she loved her grand kids. She received her GED and then went to school and received her Cerfication for Culinary Arts. Every one loved her fried chicken and sweet potatoe pies. She worked at the Injury Treatment Center.

She leaves behind her mother Sandra Singletary, her children Lakisha, Tyiesha, James (veto), Maria (chicken), Nathaniel, Chanda and Shannon, son-in-law Michael Ludd, daughter-in-law Heaven Robinson-Brown, sister Amy and Kim, brother Clayton, nieces Sandra, Shyre, Kayla, Shamia, nephews Kendall, Clarence, Vincent, her grandchildren Ryheim, Marlon; Dasmeire, Quontez, Lamont, Donnie, Asia, Robert, Ger'mia, Jaydn, Zion, Karter, Lil Mike, Camden, Sash, LiL Nay and a special one on the way great grand son Ryheim Jr., and God daughter Percia Lawson.

Special people who meant a lot and help raise her kids are, WillieMae and Keith Branded, Julius and Annie Weems, Ms. Eva Brown who proceeded her in death, and God brother Rymeen Fulton. Longtime friend Sharon Cash and Best friend LaShawnda (Shawnie) O'neal.
