Marie Odessa Johnson was born on April 15, 1922 to Robert and Lelia rozzell of Meckburg County, North Carolina. She was the only child out of this union. She departed this life on April 16, 2010 of natural causes. She eventually married Ernest Johnson in 1941. She was a member of Leadenhall Baptist Church. She often worked as a hairdresser and her husband was employed at the B & O Railroad. She loved everyone and will be greatly missed. She leaves to mourn; son, Cornell Vincent Johnson; three daughters, Ernestine Richardson, Saundra Moore and Wilma Johnson; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and a host of distant relatives and many frieds.
