Marie Simms Pinkney, daughter of the later Thomas Simms and Daisy Simms born on February 20, 1921 and departed this life on April 14, 2006, due to a lengthy illness. Marie received her education through the Baltimore Public School System. She enjoyed spending time by playing card games with her family and friends and shopping. Marie met and maried the late Howard D. Pinkney. The union was blessed with six children: Remona, Geraldine deceased, Joan, Preston, Cornelius deceased, and Jerome. She also had five siblings which proceeded her in death, Weenie, Delma, Diebee, Jimmy and Bubbles. She leaves to cherish her children: her two sisters, Helen Pinkney and Goldie McRoy; two daughters-in-law, Shirley Brown and Yvonne Pinkney; one son-n-law, Clifton Richardson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
