Marion Generette born to the late Viola Generette- Roy on December 05, 1940. She departed this life on May 25, 2018 after a lengthy illness.
Marion received her education in the Baltimore City Public
School System, where she graduated and later was employed at
Earl Scheib Painting Company and Mrs. Ihries Potato Chip
Factory. Marion also pursued her career as a Geriatric Certified
Nursing Assistant for more than 3 decades retiring from Mariner
Health & Rehabilitation Center in Baltimore City.
Marion also known as (Mama, Big Nana , Grandma &
Generette) was a strong, hardworking, dedicated women who
was very photogenic and loved to smile. She valued the
meaning of family.
Marion enjoyed playing her lottery, giving out winning numbers,
cooking delicious meals, playing card games, going to bingo or
even taking a walk to the local shopping center. She also
enjoyed going to the Hair Cuttery to get beautified, listening to
her soothing music while bumping/ rocking on the sofa,
drinking Ginger Ale soda and eating grandma vanilla cookies.
Marion loved going on family outings attending family functions
and watching her grandchildren grow beautifully.
She was preceded in death by her son; Anthony Davis, Sister,
Francine, and brother Albert Marion.
She leaves to mourn, her children Eyvonne, Kevin, Deborah and
Sharon; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great
grandchildren, 1 sister, Gloria; 4 brothers, Walter (Sonny),
Tyrone, Gregory and Maurice; best friend/ cousin, Carrie; son
in-law, James Brown; sister in-law, Florence; a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
