Mariska Lafay Russell aka "Rissy" was born on January 23, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Lamuel and Shirley Russell. She departed this life on April 23,2013 after a long illness. She received her formal education in Baltimore City Public | Schools where she attended both Rock Glen Junior High School and Walbrook Senior High School. The things that "Rissy" enjoyed the most were cooking, laughing, and painting. Her God given talent was doing hair. "Rissy" had life-long friends from her old neighborhoods that still remain in her life today. "Rissy" loved animals and God's creations. She was a very family oriented person. "Rissy" leaves to cherish fond memories: her three children, Chantele Russell, Shanae Channon Anderson, and Devonte Russell; three godsons, Travis Johnson, Royal Brown, and Priest Goode; her significant other Donnell Montgomery aka Dip; three siblings Andre Russell, Sean Russell, and Lisa Russell; nieces, nephews, aunts, and a host of cousins, friends, and pets.
