Obituary

Marjorie Copeland Moore, daughter of the late Frank: Copeland and Ethel Bonner Copeland was born on June 12, 1930 in Little Washington, North Carolina. God called her home on September 4, 2017.

Marjorie Moore (BKA Frank) was called Frank: because she looked so much like her father. She had a sister named Martha Ann Eloron (deceased) that she loved so much.

Frank received her education in Little Washington, NC. She graduated from P.S. Jones High School, there she met the late Phillip Moore, they dated for 3 years. Phillip became the love of her life, lst love and joined hand in marriage. They started a family and moved to Baltimore, MD over the years. She gave natural birth to 17 children. Phillip and Marjorie stayed together 50+ years until his departure on March 8, 1996.

Frank was a former member of the Elks and she worked in the Baltimore City Public School and Selton Hill Manor. Frank: also was a member at St. Pius Catholic Church. She loved to sing, dance and listen to the old folk songs. She would tell us stories about the old times, life and how it was so hard then. Also, she taught us how to stretch your money; save a little and put some up for a rainy day and no matter what happen, to love one another and help each other out. We didn't have much but lots of love. Frank also stated you can write a book on how life was in the days and how we survived. People

couldn't believe how we were so healthy. I

Frank: loved to cook, she could make any meal from scratch, no measuring and she fed anybody that was hungry. Everyone loved her sugar biscuits, raisin, coconut sweet potato pies, syrup biscuits, cheese biscuits, cornbread, collard greens, potato salad, fried chicken and fish. She was a very strong woman until her illness.

Frank leaves to cherish her memory: 9 daughters, Patricia Moore Parker, Rosetta Moore Demory, Ethel Moore Duppins, Doris Moore Johnson, Delorie Moore Whaley, Charlene, Marjorie, Mildred, Mary Moore; 2 sons, Phillip and Authur Moore; four sons-in-law, Fred Demory, Calvin Duppins, Javis Floyd, Avery Johnson and cousin, Melvin Moore; Aunt Delorie and Aunt Alicemae Moore; 52 grands, 42 great grands and a host of relatives and friends.
