'For as much as it has pleased Almighty God to take from our midst' a fine Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, and Sister in Christ.



Marjorie Warren was born on April 11, 1932 in Suffolk, Virginia to Jake and Laura Hamblin. She departed this life on Monday December 28, 2020. She had Eight Siblings: Three Sisters, Ruth Johnson, Mary Hamblin, Elizabeth Williams, and Five Brothers, Junie Hamblin, Roy Hamblin, Willie Hamblin, Joe Hamblin, and Jake Davis, all siblings preceded her in death, except for one dearly beloved sister, Ruth Johnson who resides in Suffolk Virginia, and who loves her very much.



Marjorie Warren had Four Nieces & One Nephew, Betty Ann Pope, Marriee Mabine & Wilbur Johnson. Elouise Harris and Emma Jones preceded her in death. Marjorie Warren was married to the late Melvin Warren. She had nine sons: Howard Hamblin, Tony Hamblin, Calvin Warren, Melvin Warren, Willie Warren, and Ocie Warren. Quinten, Steven, and Vernon Warren Preceded her in death as babies, they are resting peacefully with the Lord. God blessed her with Six Grandchildren: Renee Hamblin, Theressa Johnson, Melvina Warren, Melvin Warren Jr., and Ocie Warren Jr. Sheila Hamblin preceded her in death. She was blessed with Five Great-grandchildren: Beninah, Deonte, Que, Kamari, Little Ocie Warren. Marjorie Warren attended school in Suffolk Virginia in her earlier years, she also worked in Baltimore, Maryland for many years.



Marjorie Warren loved fellowshipping with her family and friends. In 1980, Sister Marjorie Warren received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Benjamin Crawford and his wife Sister, Lucille Crawford. Not long after that she attended and joined Kingsway Bible Baptist Church, where she has made many friends down through the years. Being excited about her newfound spiritual life, she joined the Usher Board the same year. She often said, "I love being an Usher". She has served this ministry faithfully and proudly for 39 years. Sister Marjorie Warren was a part of the Seniors encouraging Seniors Ministry of Kingsway. She was a determine Christian woman for the Lord. Marjorie Warren had a SWEET, QUIET, and GENTLE, spirit. She served the Lord through sickness and in health. Her faithfulness as a child of God brought her blessings, joy, and peace in her life. she was a blessed woman of God.



Marjorie Warren leaves to mourn her six sons and family, Howard Hamblin, wife Sylvia, Tony Hamblin, Calvin Warren, Melvin Warren, Willie Warren, Ocie Warren. Her Sister, Ruth Johnson, Nieces, Betty Ann Pope & Marriee Mabine, Nephew, Wilbur Johnson. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends, including her church family Kingsway.
