Obituary

Marlyn Lee Keeve, daughter of the late John T Carter and Florence V Fallin was born March 1, 1942. "Mickey" as Marlyn was affectionately known by family and close friends was the first born of four siblings. Marlyn gave her life to Christ at an early age and remained faithful and committed to her relationship to Him throughout her life. Marlyn's early educational endeavors began in Virginia. Marlyn became a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Tidewater Hospital in Tappahanock, Virginia. After relocating to Maryland, Marlyn com- pleted three years of College becoming a Certified Medicine Aide, Certified Pharmacy Technician and before retiring worked as an In- travenous Lab Technician at the University of Maryland Hospital. Marlyn joined and remained a faithful member of Greater Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 2000 North Fulton Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21217 until the Lord summoned Marlyn home. Marlyn loved her church family and spoke highly of her Pastor Rev. Dr. Roger L. Holliman. Marlyn's last fellowship with her church family was the 1st Sunday, April 6, 2014. It was during Communion that Marlyn stood at the podium, located near the Organ and melodiously sang, "The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power". Oh! How the Greater Bethesda church family rejoiced and offered praise unto God for the miraculous work He demonstrated through His Own Marlyn. Marlyn 's favorite songs are, "If I Can Help Somebody As I Pass Along" and "There Will Be No Tears In Heaven". On Tuesday, June 3, 2014, God dispatched the angel of death. As the hour glass of time continued to slowly dissolve, Marlyn peacefully closed her eyes, quietly slipped into eternal rest and away from her family and friends. Marlyn will always be remembered for her quiet spirit, helpful generous nature and of course her love of conversation (smile). Marlyn leaves to cherish her loving memory: two daughters, Michelle and Renee,' two grandsons, Jose and Mario; one great grandson, Isaac,' two sisters, Robin and JoAnn; one god sister, Deena; one brother, Edward; three nieces, Mia, Dale and Kathy,' two nephews, Christian and Kahlil; one godson, Rodney; best friend, Frances Taylor and a host of cherished family and friends.
