Marsha Ann Dixon-Bay was born April 29, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Marlene Parks and Jessie Paul Parks. She departed this life on Thursday, September 22, 2011 in her home; in Gods infinite wisdom, he sent his angel to gently lift her spirit to her heavenly home. Marsha grew up in Baltimore City. She attended Carver Vocational High School where she intiated her craft and discovered her passion for sewing. She proudly received her diploma from Frederick Douglas Senior High School and worked for several years as a seamtress at the ACME Pad Corporation. She decided to further her education and received her degree in Fashion Design at the Bay College of Maryland in 1977. She went on to share her gift and love for sewing as an Industrial Instructor at the Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School. With love she made beautiful dresses, gowns and other garments for family and friends. Afterwards she went on to the Visiting Nurses Association. following she became an Absent Parent Locator and a Child Support Specialist for the state government. In December 2010, she retired from there after being employed for 25 years and acquired several lifetime friends. Marsha was a faithful member of Bethel A.M.E. Church for many, many years. She would speak endlessly of the love she had for her Pastor and christian family. She became a dedicated member of the choir and loved to sing. She enjoyed the choir many trips to other churches and events. Marsha truly loved and spoke highly of her family. She leaves to cherish her memory; two children, one son - Orin L . Tynes-Bey; one daughter - Noreen Tynes-Bey; also two brothers, Norton Allan Revell; the late Leonard Turner; one sister-in-law, Doris Revell; two grandchildren, Orin Y. Tynes-Bey and Britney Victoria Tynes-Bey; the most recent apples of her eyes are her two great-granddaughters, Mikayla and Milan, three nephews, Norton, Wayne and Jeszara; three nieces, Jody, Sharon and Yvette, five great nephews, Antwan, Bryan, Norton Asante, Joshus and Matthew, two great nices, Yestantis and Myka, special friend darlene Millings-Bey and a host of other relatives and friends.
