Mary Butler, daughter of the late Catherine and Theodore Boyd, was born on February 1, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on March 5, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Mary, known to everyone as "Mama" received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools 'Systems: It was there that she received her GED from Frederick High. Mama worked at a local bakery for many years. She provided private duty housekeeping for several years as well. In her later years she took on the role as daycare provider for- many of the little ones in the family. Mama enjoyed helping others and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her charm and smile would enlightened any given moment. Mama was preceded in death by her parents; Catherine & Theodore Boyd, Husband; Louis Butler, Siblings; Theodore, Thomas, Rudolph & David Boyd, and- her Children; Mable, Aljonzo & Lucinda Spencer. She leaves too. cherish her memories, her sisters, Louise Cummings, Mable Ball, Freda Boyd, Catherine Lee, Bernadine Boyd, Bernice Shrieves; brother, Dan Boyd; 3 daughters, Mary Jackson, Grace Sweeper and Elizabeth Butler; 2 sons Louis & Christopher Butler,; 5 Stepchildren, Mary Ellen Griggs, Viewing Joseph H.
