Our beloved mother Mary Elizabeth Nelson was born June 18, 1937 in South Boston Virginia. to the late Henry & Virginia Nelson, eldest of five children. Mary departed this earthly place to be with the Lord, January 4th, 2012. Mary receive her education in the Baltimore City public School System. Mary worked various jobs but she later retired from the Baltimore City Public School System after 28 years of service. One of Mary's favorite pass time was eating crabs. She "LOVED" to cook and entertain friends. Mary also enjoyed her long distance conversations with her dear friends Bernice Monroe who lived in VA. She is precieved in death by her brother Charlie Owens Nelson; and two sister Martha Estelle Williams and Betty Jean Turner. Mary leaves to mourn; daughter Carolyn Denise Nelson; two sons Nathaniel Johnson and Ricky Thomas Nelson; one brother Roosevelt Thomas Nelson Sr; two sisters in laws Mary Nelson, and Minnie Nelson; two grandsons Marvin Perry Jr. and Charles Peacock Jr.; one great grandson Tyler Rice; an devoted friend Patsy Rhyanes and a host of famiy and friends.
