Mary Viola Fenwick, known to all of us as Viola, beloved daughter of the late Jimmy Dorsey and Annie Dorsey was born on Decmber 6, 1906 in Charles County, Maryland. She departed this life on November 26, 2006 to began an eternal life with her Lord. Viola received her education at St. Peter Claver Catholic School. She was employed at the Federal Tin Can Company for eight years. She also wiorked in the food service department at the Grayhound Bus Company. Viola also found joy and satisfaction volunteering in many activities, first, at St. Peter Clavor Catholic church and then at St. Edwards's Roman's Catholic church. During this time, she was also a member of the Ladies Sodality. Viola married the late William Warfield Fenwick and from this union there twelve children. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Anna Hopewell, Elizabeth Malachi, Rose Shorter, Marie Leggett and Margaret Jenkins, one son, Wilburn Fenwick, twenty-nine grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, three daughters-in-law; a devboted son-in-law, Paul Malachil and a goddaughter, Anna Eveline.
