Mary D. Hickson affectionately known as " Delorse", daughter of the late
Lucille and Paul Hickson Sr.,began her life journey on March 7, 1949 in
Baltimore Maryland.

She was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. After graduation
from Edmonson High School in 1967 she attended Keep Punching School.
In August 1968 she birthed a beautiful baby girl named Jacquetta.
Following motherhood, Delorse was hired at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in
October 1968. She was employed for more than 40 years at Sinai in the
Keep Punching department then promoted to the Payroll department.

In 2011, Delorse retired and began enjoying watching "The Wendy
Williams Show" , "Law and Order" and Life Time Movies. As many of us
know, her favorite song was "Before I Let Go" by Frankie, Beverly, and Maze.
As we reflect on the life of Delorse, we know the best and most beautiful
things in her life cannot be seen or touched, they must be felt in our hearts
and remembered in our minds. What's most important is the time that I
lived my illness did not have victory over me. The strongest people aren't
those whom show strength in front of us, but those who win battles we
know nothing about.

Delorse leaves to celebrate her life and cherish fond memories by her
loving daughter Jacquetta D. Hickson-Evans, two grandson's Dwight E Foote
Jr. and Darius N. Davis. Her sister Shirley Hickson-Davis, two brothers Paul
W. Hickson Jr and Kenneth W. Hickson Sr. One niece Lisa Hill, two nephews
Andre P. Hickson and Kenneth W. Hickson Jr. One brother -in-law Salem Bill
Davis; a host of cousins and many special friends.
