Mary Frances Hursey, daughter of the late Eugene Simon Curry and Ann Elizabeth Curry was born on August 2, 1945 in Baltimore, MD. She departed this life in her home on Monday, June 23,2014. Mary received her education in the Baltimore City Public School system. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Carl Hursey of Baltimore, MD on April 14, 1963. This union bore 5 children Nathaniel, Alethea, Mary, Darlene and David. Mary was devoted to her family and friends and would open her doors to anyone. Mary continued to grieve after losing her daughter Alethea, in 2012. Mary Worked for over 30 years as a private duty House Assistant for the Smith's Family until she reached retirement. After retirement Mary began to struggle with her health, although she became ill, she" Loved the Lord" and received Christian Baptism at St. John Baptist Church, on October 22, 2006. Mary's hobbies included shopping, singing, cooking, gardening, and traveling. She was a very loving person and was loved by everyone who came in contact with her. The family would want to remember her for giving and appreciating life. Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories: Two brothers; James and Eugene/bothpreceded in death). Four sisters; Bertha, Elizabeth, Lucille, and Brenda of Wilkes-Barre, PA. Five Children; Nathaniel Evans, Alethea Hursey (preceded in death), Mary Jacobs, Darlene Dixon, and David Hursey. Step-son Pedro. One daughter in law-April-Evans, One son-in- law Donald Dixon and one granddaughter-in-law Jaycel Dixon. 20 grandchildren; Nate, Michelle, Moses, Shannon, La 'Shonda, David Parker Jr (preceded in death), Lamont, Annette, Antoine M, Latoya, Antoine E, Little David (preceded in death), Renita, Quitina, Big Davon, Little Davon, Darrius, Dayshanna, Jonathon, Anthony. Host of great grand-children, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Best Friend Purnell & Florence and close friend Nathaniel Parker. Host of other family members and friends. Viewing Joseph H.
