Mary Elizabeth Snow Johnson affectionately known to many as "Liz"
was born January 15, 1931 to the late Mary Pitts in
Brooklyn, NY, and departed this life on May 10, 2018.

Mary attended Baltimore City Public School and later
Cortez and Strayer Business Schools.

In 1967 Mary married James W. Johnson who was her joy
and the love of her life.

Mary was employed with the US Post Office for almost
30 years and was a happy retiree. She has been a daughter
of the Elks Lodge # 1107 Spirit of Chesapeake and a member
of the Maryland Chapter of Eastern Star.

Mary was a faithful member of Shiloh Christian Community
Church where she has served as President of the WCC Council
and later as co-coordinator for the Senior Ministry's Tuesday
Seniors who she enjoyed working with and for.

Liz was a great friend and confidant to many over the years
and had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. She
was quite a lover of hats and had a hat for every occasion.

She leaves to mourn: her daughter, Mary Lemon (Cookie) and
her fiance Jerome Ramsey Sr.; grandchildren, Kim Snow,
Sean Daniel, Rodney Daniel, Kedra Bennett, Jonae and husband
Antoine Turner, Talal Rogers; great grandchildren, Shanteese
Pittman, Ne'vaeh Daniel, Isaiah Daniel, Louis Simms Jr., Ava Turner,
Kayden Daniel and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband James W. Johnson Sr.,
daughters, Belita Booth and Jowyna Daniel and son
James W. Johnson Jr.-
