Mary Murrill, daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Grooms, was born on April 12, 1917 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on febuary 19, 2007 due to heart failure. During the last months of her life, she resided at a nursing facility in Baltimore, City. Mary recieved her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. She was employed at the Maryland Jockey Club for many years. She resident of the Lexington Terrace/Poe Homes for over 25 years. Mary loved children and she loved her community. She was a caring person who often helped her neighbors. She loved people as she loved her life. In 1992, Mary attended the Baltimore City Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she was baptized. She was the widow of the late James Murrill. Masry was well liked and maade friends wherever she went. She had an unusual sense of humor and the ability to evoke a smile with her jokes. She was compassionate woman, who saw goodness in everyone. Mary leaves to mourn; her daughter, Margaret; granddaughter, Shawndette; great-grandson, Devin; twograt-granddaughters, Britney and Ciaria; four great-grat-grandchildren; and a host of loving relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
