Obituary

Matilda Lois Mahammitt, also known as "Tina," was born on December 6, 1958 to Rev. Earl Jerry Mahammitt and Irene Mahammitt. Tina graduated from Edmondson Senior High School in June of 1977. Tina was employed at Deaton Medical Center and Hospice Hospital in 1987, where she was trained to be a Medicine Aide. Tina was know for her full of life attitude. In her youth Tina sang lead soprano in the chior at Central Summerfield Baptist Church with long time family friend Wendy Dabney and youngest sister Jacqueline Kelly. Tina made numerous friends wherever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. She was always a true friend and devote sister and loving mother. Tina leaves to mourn; three daughters, Cheron Hill, Ashley Hill and Shanice Davis; five brothers, Doc Holiday, Jerry Mahammitt, Jr., Terry Mahammitt, Tony Mahammitt and Dwayne Mahammitt; two sisters, Queenester Christmas and Jacqueline Kelly; two grandchildren, Ta'nea Hill and Duane Taylor; twelve nieces and nephews, Earl, Natasha, Joh, Barry, Lil' Brain Jr., Tiffany, Jerry Jr. III, Jasmine, Ebony, Da Shawn, Yolanda and Tasha; five great-nieces and great-nephews, Ny'maria, Glori, Braiah, Niay and Za'Kiya; two brothers-in-law, Brain Kelly and Richard Christmas; three sisters-in-law, Wonda Holiday, Rhonda Kelly and Samantha Mumford; three aunts, Vertis, Mattiemae and Ellamae; two uncles, James and Bo Pete, and a host of other relatives and friends.
