Mickey attended Buckley Senior High School in New London, Connecticut before enlisting in the United States Navy in 1968. He also attended Baltimore City CommunityCollege, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. In his youth Mickey worked for 15 years at Bethlehem Steel Shipyard in Baltimore, Md. he worked diligently as crane specialist Mickey also worked as a Water Analystfor 10 yrs.at Baltimore Resco.
