Obituary

Maude Brenda Biard-Turnage born Octover 18, 1958 in Baltimore, MD to late Reverend Beatrice Hinton and Howard Biard. Maude affectionately known as "Brenda" answered God's call to eternal rest on Saturday July 26, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Brenda loved her life as a child of God from childhood onto her last days. The youngest of 6 children and guided to Christ and accepting her path with God under the Shiloh Apostolical Faith Church where her mother resided as Pastor. Brenda's walk with Christ continued thru various churches settling at Saint Paul's Church, Baltimore Street. Her faith and undying love of the Lord attrivuted to many loving and happy memories. Her enjoyments included listening to gospel music, reading the bible and her favorite; enjoying life with all the children near and dear to her in and out of the family. She married her love Larry Turnage on March 25, 1978. Brenda loved attending family gatherings, her presence was happy and a joy to be around. Sher had a sense of humor and love for life. "The life of the Party" is nothing short of her joyful smile and spirit. She could and would bring anyone out of the darkest hour with her uncensored comedy and quotes. Continued memories of laughter will always live with her memory. Her acceptance of her life was quoted by saying "Life is like a Doorknob, Everybody Gets a Turn" Brenda received her education within Baltimore City Schools to include job training with Keystone Job Corps, where she learned her trade as a Welder. Her education and trade continued into her Apprenticeship as a Painter and employed with the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) until her retirement in 2003. Her continued leadership led her to accept appointment as an Advocate Spokesperson at her Dialysis Center with DaVita Dialysis Medical. Preceding her in death her husband Larry Turnage, parents Howard and Beatrice, brothers: Carlivelt, Sr., Jerome and Leroy, Sister: Nina Gray Jobes, niece and nephews: Carlivelt, Jr., Shelia and Frederick. Her Cherished and Treasured memories are left with her son Shawn (Rhonda), daughter Kerri (Raymond), Godson Tavon (Jessica), 8 grandchildren: Antwan, Tiffany, Tiara, Autumn, Raysheal, Sharay, TaShawn and Tavin, 5 great-grandchildren: Aniya, Mariah, Terrence, Imani and Jaci, one sister Mertie Jubilee, one Great Aunt Mrs. Nina Hinton (North Carolina), nieces: Lisa, Christina and Quetta, fond memories to her Mother In Law Ernestine Turnage, sister in laws Delores (William), Barbara Ann, Brother in law's: James Henry and Tyrone, a hosts of favorite cousins, family and friends.
