Remembering the life of Maurice Alvin Turner Sr. born January 8, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland. Maurice was a beacon of light, embracing life with a spirited and vibrant personality. Maurice gave his life to Christ at an early age at Macedonia Baptist Church. As an adult, he converted his faith at St. Bernadine Catholic Church being baptized in 1990.

Maurice was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools and later received his GED. Maurice was a self-taught mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars a d spent his career doing what he loved! He loved dressing to the nines. When dressed up, his outfits had o include a fedora, a pocket square, and a fancy watch. When he was casual, he had to match from head-to-toe. If you stepped on his tennis shoes, you were in trouble!

He loved restoring and riding bicycles, playing and watching basketball, and watching the Ravens. Maurice Alvin Turner Sr., a devoted husband, son, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend gained his wings on March 4, 2024, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Maurice was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. George Jones and his stepfather, Joseph H. Copeland Ill.

Maurice leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Lisa M. Turner, married July 21, 1991; parents, Louise Copeland, Alfred Wyatt Sr., and Alvin S. Turner; daughter, Deniesha Avery; 2 sons, Maurice Turner Jr. and Ke'vel Turner; 4 grandchildren, Na'Kiya, Amar, Dwayne Jr. and Baby Da'Kota; 3 brothers, Alfred (Kimberly) Wyatt Jr., Bryan (Charie) Wyatt, Joseph Copeland II; 4 sisters, Angela (Hugh) Crawford, Rhonda (Scott) Turner, Tanya (Gregory) Ransome, Sherdina (Antonia) Hurd; 10 nephews, Antonio C., Antonio J. (Audrey) , Lewis, Tre, Leon (Delia), Gregory Jr., Raheem, Keon, Donyae, and Stephen; 8 nieces, Delores, Angela, Sharde, Latanya, Sherdina, Aaliyah, DaShawn, and Arielle; mother-in-law, Cheryl Turner.

A host of great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Although his unexpected departure has left avoid in the hearts of those that knew and loved him, we choose to rejoice in the cherished memories Maurice left behind
