Maurine Eunice Brown, daughter of the late Etta Jones and Bernard Queen, was born on July 22, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was called to rest after a lengthy illness on May 2,2015 at Joseph H. Richie Hospice. Maurine was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended various schools in Baltimore area. Graduating from Veneable High School with a Nursing Aid Certificate. Maurine who was known by many as mama. She loved life and lived it to the fullest with no regrets. She was the kind of person who can walk into a room and it would light up. Maurine had a passion for helping people. She would lend her ear to listen and gave a solution to a problem even if you did not want to hear it. She had a big heart full of love and a lot of compassion. She always was willing to help or give her all to anyone. Maurine enjoyed her job. And she worked 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Maurine loved hard. She was a blessing to see. And she will truly be miss by all who knew her. Maurine leaves to mourn: her beloved son Andre Keith Thomas Brown, Sr.(Daughter-in-law Krys Brown), William(Paulette), Paige(Michelle), Anthony(Denise), Eric(Dee), Tracey; special sons dear to her heart Stanley and Glenn; god son Curtis; grandchildren Equanette, Contessa, Derek, Tanyna, Andre Jr..
