On Saturday evening, July 22, 2006, very gently and peacefully Almighty God softly closed tyhe eyes of our beloved Mechelle Kim Spencer where upon she entered into her enternal rest after a lenghy illness. Mechelle Kim Spencer, affectionately known as Me-Me or ''Shelly,'' was born to Catherine Spencer Johnson on December 30, 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland. Mechelle attended Baltimore City Schools throughout elementary and middle school. She attended Saint Francis Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. She then furthered her education at Baltimore City Community College. Upon completion of her education she worked in various positions including sales, security, cashiering and election judging. Mechelle began her lifelong career at the Baltimore Arena now the First Mariner Arena. She was loved and admired by her co-worker because of her vibrant persionality. Mechelle also worked at the Baltimore Zoo shorty before her illness. Mecehelle was an exceptional cook. She was favored for her macaroni and cheese and lasagna. she was extemely loved for her outspoken friendliness and beautiful smile. Mechelle was truly a people's person who often put other's well being first. She was good with her hands and known as ''Ms. Fix It''. Me-Me made numerous friends whereever she went and will be sincerely missed bu everyone who knew her. She was always a true friend and a devoted mother. Left to cherish the love, works and life of our beloved Mechelle are: her mother Catherine; two loving children, Clifton Roland and Kera' Jean Spencer; grandmother, Reva Spencer; aunt, Jean Pickens; great-aunt, Rosaland Lee; cousins, Gina Lee, Tiara Pickens, Niccole Johson, Jasmine Pickens, Marquise Copeland; life long companion, Anthony Gill; stepsister, Evette Johnson; step-grandmother, Anna Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
