Obituary

Melinda Denise Haynes, nee Liason (Thaira), was born on September11,1960 to the late Albert Liason and the late Serita Liason-Bey, nee Mobley.



She attended Mount Hebron Baptist Church and at age 52 she was baptized.



She received her education in the Baltimore City school system; graduating from Douglas High School in 1979. After graduating high school she enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for 5 1/2 years.



Melinda worked at Walmart, Quiznos and the McCormick Co.



Thaira was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and auntie. She was a consummate care giver; always willing to assist those in need. She frequently talked about her grandchildren and how much she loved them. Whether someone needing a place to stay, a bite to eat, or a comforting hug, she was there.



Thiara, was always the life of any event she attended. She made sure that everyone knew that she was there. She loved music, dancing and singing. She was always extremely neat; everything always had to be in its place. Her home was always peaceful and comforting.



She had the type of spirit that attracted all types of people. Her spirit was accepting to anyone in any condition.



She leaves to mourn, Stepmother, Dorothy Mae Alston; Son, Kelly Bell; Daughter, Anisah Bell; 2 grandchildren, AnZaevon Harris and TaiJon Kirby; 2 Sisters Tanya Fenwick (brother-In-law Kevin Fenwick), Victoria Alston; 4 brothers, Uhmar Alston, Michael Alston, Andre Alston and



Marlin Alston, a host ofaunties, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
