Melvin Jerome Shaw, son of Mallie and Mary Shaw, was born on November 19, 2008 at Bayview Medical Center. Melvin received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He was a long-term employee of W.F. Wilson Construction Company. Melvin, a.k.a,"Uncle Bennie,"was extremely family-oriented, mild-mannered, fun loving, and comedic. Melvin enjoyed playing cards, chess, and spending time with his family. Melvin was a true and dedicated fan of the Baltimore Ravens and an admirer of President-Elect Barack Obama.
