Melvin Stewart, Sr. departed peacefully in the comfort
of home on November 22, 2016.

Melvin was born July 20,1939 in Baltimore, MOto the
late Howard Vincent Stewart and LoueUa Stewart. He
attended Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated
from Carver Vocational Technical High School. He later
entered into holy matrimony with his late wife (florene)
who preceded him In death. From this union he was
blessed with his son Melvin Stewart, Jr. Melvin worked
in the Baltimore City Public School System as a counselor
until retirement.

Melvin accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his life at an
early age and later rededicated his life to Christ at New
Unity Baptist Church under PastorJohnny Golden.

Melvin had a strong love for his family and his cats. He
enjoyed entertaining family and friends. He also had a true
love for extravagant things such as fashion, decorations
and designs. Melvin you will forever be in our memories.
Rest peacefully with your brother Charles Stewart!

Meivin leaves to cherish his memory: His loving son Melvin
Stewart, Jr; daughter·in·law Freda Stewart; one devoted

sister Eileen Ringgold; two brothers Donald and Henry Stewart;
one sister-ln-law Evangeline Stewart; one aunt Marjorie Efliott;
Goddaughter Darlene Wilson; a special great niece Jasmine
Goode whom he connected with in the past few years, and a
host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
