Mervin Boyce Boone was born to the late Clarence T. Boone and Janice Stinnett Boone on June 19, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. After a short illness, he departed this life on Friday, December 1 ,2017.

Mervin received his formal education from the Baltimore City Public School System graduating from the Baltimore City Community College.

Mervin worked various jobs, but his long time job was as an Animal Caretaker at the Johns Hopkins University where he finally retired after 35+ years of services. Mervin would show up for work even when he was not supposed to.

Mervin was a vivid book lover. His book collection took over his whole house where he taught himself all sorts of things.

Mervin was proceeded in death by his sisters, Bobyetta Cooper, Christina Williams, and Towanda Boone; his brother, Jerard "Rudy" Boone.

Mervin leaves to cherish his memory his sister (the last of the bunch) Evelyn Wells (Albert Sr.); one Aunt Catherine Christy; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
