Michael Anthony Burke, Sr. quietly and peacefully entered into the presence of his Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 after a lifelong battle with kidney disease.

Michael was born on May 26, 1966 at Boston Medical Center in Boston,
Massachusetts to Catherine Burke however raised from age five by Pastor Aurrie &
Wesley Oantley. He was the eldest of six siblings.

Michael was educated in the Boston Public School System. He loved and played baseball as
a child. He looked out for his siblings even in wavering circumstances. Michael received
Christ in his early twenties and became a proud member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of
the World(PAW).

Michael ADORED his children; Michael Jr. and Michelle Antoinette, his name sakes, from his
former wife Martha Allen. He was employed at the Boston Children's Hospital. He later went
on to work as a medical transport driver until his illness progressed. While ill he authored two
published books; "Blessed" a book of poems; and "Miracles" a book about overcoming his
health obstacles.

After years of lonqinq for love and praying for a soul mate, he found "THE FIBER OF HIS
BEING" Sheila Mason in 2014. Thereafter dating long distance, Michael and Sheila were
joined in holy matrimony in November 2015.

Upon relocating to Baltimore, Maryland "Ravens Nation" he remained an avid, die heart,
dedicated, unwavering, longtime, number one fan of the New England Patriots. He also
enjoyed traveling, fishing, movies, eating out with friends, watching sports and westerns,
loving andspoilinq his grandchildren.

Michael was five foot two in stature but a GIANT in spirit. Always known to encourage, he
would send out daily words of affirmation to a large number of people both near and far. He
was currently an active partner at Manifested Glory Worship Center (MGWC) where he was
affectionately known as "Pop Mike". Pop Mike was a part of several ministries, such as;
Sunday School, Sick and Shut-In, and Seasoned and Mature Saints(SAMS). Pop Mike
received a certificate of recognition for caring for others.

Michael was a son, father, husband, brother, friend, uncle, encourager, giver, counselor,
Pilar, deacon, avid New England Patriots fan, Boston Celtics fan, Boston Red Socks fan,
and Boston Bruins fan. But overall he will leave a legacy long remembered.

He was preceded in death by his brother Tchaka Cooke.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory; his loving and devoted wife, Sheila Burke; his
mother, Catherine Burke; one godmother, Paulette Madden (Nathaniel); two children,
Michael A. Burke, Jr. and Michelle A. King (Adrian) of Massachusetts, three step daughters,
Tami Adams (Christopher), Shannon Mason (Lawrence), Michelle Grier (Jimmie); two
sisters, Lavonne Sanderson (Anthony) and Yvonne Pina-Prevo (Philip) of Massachusetts;
two brothers, Larry, Aaron Murray of Rhode Island; two grandchildren, Makai King and Elise
King; five step-grandchildren, Christopher Adams, III, Cristabell Adams, Bryce White, Carsyn
Grier, and Mason Grier; a church family (MGWC), and a host of nieces, nephews, family,
and friends.
