Michael Louis Burrus was born on August 3, 1960 to
Alberta Burrus in Baltimore, Maryland. On Sunday, June
17, 2018 the gates of heaven once again opened up to
receive the departed soul of our beloved Michael.

Michael also known as "Mike" attended Baltimore City
Public Schools.

He worked various jobs but was employed at United Iron
and Metal for many years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends but
especially his great niece, D' Asia. He also had a love for
fixing cars and doing things for his family.

On June 9, 2013 he suffered a massive stroke leaving him
partially paralyzed and unable to talk. On May 30 he was
diagnosed with terminal cancer.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: his mother, Alberta
Burrus; one sister, Laneah Burrus Harding; sisters, Shelia
Roberts and Deborah Burrus who preceded him in death;
two brothers-in-law, Norwood Harding and James Roberts;
two nieces, LaGwenda Smith and Tracy Lynn; one nephew,
Robert Cousins Jr. (Jannie); three great nephews, Da'Quan
Cousins, Jordan Anderson and Travon Anderson; a great
niece, D' Asia Banks; two aunts, Mildred Boykin Keith and
Anita O'Neal; a long time friend, Roy Wade and a host of
other relatives and friends.
