Michael Anthony Grissom Sr., son of Stella Grate and the late Willie Grissom was born April 24, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life for a better place promised by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 17, 20l7.

Michael, "Mike" as he was fondly called by his family and friends, received his education in the Baltimore City School System. He served in the US Military for 3 years with a honorable discharge.

Mike made friends wherever he went, and will be sincerely missed by all.

He leaves to mourn: mother, Stella Grate; sons, Michael A. Grissom, Jr. and Antione Graves; brother, Andre Grissom(wife-Jennifer); sisters, Phyllis A. Coles, Debra Brice, Jacqueline Brice-Smallwood (husband-Wavery), Margaret R. Alexander, Audra Bailey (husband-Glen), Nicole Grissom, and Taryn Chapel (husband-Freddie); grandson, Khyle A. Grissom; granddaughter, Na'kiya Graves; aunt, Ida Lee Grissom; uncles, Willie Chambers (wife-Arnetha) and Thomas Grissom (wife-Dorothy) 18 nieces and nephews, 42 great nieces and nephews, 14 great great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
