Michael Nelson Jones, Sr., affectionately known as
Mikey, was born May 12,1950 to the late James Jones, Sr.
and Erlene Jones. He departed this life suddenly on
August 24, 2018.

Mikey was educated in the Baltimore City Public School
System. He held many jobs in life,but found his passion
working for The Department of Public Works as
Superintendent of Public Building Maintenance along with
his passion to make wood into art.

Mikey was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Jones
and brother, Bruce Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Michelle
Wilson; his son, Michael N. Jones Jr.; one son in-law,
Thomas Wilson; three grandchildren, Lewis Jones III,
Kortney Wilson and Michael N. Jones III; three great
grandsons, Kayden, Kaleb and Kingsley Jones; one
brother, James Jones Jr.; five sisters, Emily (Debbie)
Paige, Adrian Lawson, Jean Floyd, Joan Smith and Tammy
Jones; one sister in-law, Diane Jones; his loving
companion, Geneva (Skeeter) Nelson; two step kids,
George Nelson and Madea Armstrong (Dennis); five
step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews,

family and friends.
