Michael"Smokey"McLaughlin passed awaypeacefully at Maryland General Hospital on September 8, 2009, aftera courageous 5 years battlekidney disease. He was born on March 2, 1950 inBaltimore Md where he was raised and attended school. Michael was one of two children born to the late Annie Belle Mclaughlin of North Carolina and Robert Dalton of Baltimore Maryland. He will forever be remembered and is survived by his beloved daughter, Monique Mclaughlin:grandchildren, Sade Douglass, Davone Brady, Jr. and JaNyia Brady;great grandchildren, Aryan Douglass; devoted sister, Jacuella Von Hendricks;niece, Loretta Von Hendricks; nephew, Tracey Von Hendricks; and a host of other family and friends who were blessed to know and love him. Michael loved listening to music and was a great dancer. He loved being with his family and just "hanging out" with his many freinds. Michael touched the lives of so many friends. Michael touched the lives of so many people with his smile and will always be remembered fo his trademark sense of humor....boy, no one could tell a story quite like Michael.
