Michael L.. Moore! son of Harold and Edna Moore, was born on January
20th, 1965 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
At the age of nine, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland with his parents.
As a teenager, he entered Eastern High School where he excelled and
graduated in 1983. Soon after graduation, he joined the Army for six
months than was honorably discharged.
In June of 1984, he married his high school sweetheart, Jacqueline
Moore, and from that union came a daughter, Anita Sophia Moore. Later
that year, he joined the Air Force and was stationed in England the
following year. In 1988, he and his family were stationed in Scott Air Force
Base, Illinois. While in the Air Force, he received many accolades and
awards. He worked very hard and became a staff Sergeant before being
honorably discharged in 1992.
He had a love for sports, going to the movies, and he enjoyed going to
the horse race tracks. Michael was a great role model, leader, father,
husband and friend.
On January 26th, 2016, Michael Moore departed this life. He was
preceded in death by his mother, Edna Moore and his grandmother, Bertha
Lucas.
He leaves to mourn: his father, Harold Moore Sr; spouse, Jacqueline
Moore; daughter, Anita Moore; three sisters, Lisa Brown, Jean Watson,
and Jennifer Ross; two brother-in-laws, Eric Ross and Reggie Watson;
three brothers, Harrell Moore, Mark Moore, and Rex Moore; two sister-in-
laws, Linda Moore and Gloria Walker; a very dear friend he shared a
brotherly bond with, Walter Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-
