IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Eugene
Ramseur Jr.
April 7, 1985 – January 30, 2026
On April 7, 1985, a beautiful boy, Michael Eugene Ramseur, Jr. was born to Wanda Oliver and Michael E Ramseur, Sr. He entered peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the young age of forty.
Known to family and friends by “Hollywood,” he received his childhood education in the public school system and obtained his GED. Hollywood was a devoted father, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend whose presence brought laughter, music, and warmth wherever he went. He had a deep love for music and cherished spending time with his children and family. Being a father meant everything to him, and his love for his kids was evident in the way he spoke about them and showed up for them. Michael held many jobs throughout his life, but his role with FedEx Ground was the one he cherished most. He took pride in his work and dedicated himself to building a better life for his children.
Michael had a sense of humor and his laughter was contagious. He had a playful spirit that could brighten even the hardest days. Beneath his fun- loving personality was a kind and caring heart. He loved his family deeply and his life touched many and his memory will forever live on through his children and the countless lives he impacted. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his laughter, love, and the joy he brought into our lives will continue to live on in our hearts.
Michael “Hollywood” is survived by his siblings Donielle “Shug” Oliver, Danielle Ramseur, Andre Garden, Stephanie “Cherrie” Ramseur and Sada Torian. Nephews, Donte’ Ramseur, Charles Mobley IV, and Yusuf Winston-Bey Jr, his children Micha Ramseur, Ma’Kiyah Ramseur, Za Riyah Ramseur, and son Amari Michael Ramseur, grandmothers Charlotte Oliver and Juanita Tate, and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
