IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Alexander
Scott
September 28, 1988 – December 15, 2021
MICHAEL A. SCOTT was born on September the 28th, 1988 to
Ms Brenda I. Scott and Jessie J. Jenkins and he departed this life on
December the 15th, 2021, after a lengthy illness.
Michael received his education at Cecil Elementary, Lombard Middle
School and Heritage High School from which he graduated in 2007.
Michael was an avid game player. He had every game system there
was and games of course! He also enjoyed watching race car racing
on television and collected race car collectibles. He also liked watching
food shows, because he liked to eat! He would often say, "I am a skinny
guy with a big guy's appetite". Other interests were playing chess, and
lacrosse where he won many games for his high school team including
one championship.
Michael started working at Gardiner's Furniture Store after graduating
from high school. He also worked for Safe Management at the Ravens
Stadium. Even though he worked at the Ravens Stadium, he was a die-
hard New Orleans Saints fan. He never missed a Saints game.
Michael for the most part was an easy-going guy. He didn't like a
whole lot of drama and would avoid conflict when he could. When
he couldn't, he had his own way of dealing with it. He was a sensitive
man as well and cared a lot about his family and friends. He didn't let
anyone disrespect his mother, who raised him as a single mother. His
father was not in his life, but he had two good male role models in the
form of his Uncle Johnny and Grandpop Bay Bay. He was crazy about
his Aunt Ellen and first and second cousins. Even though he was an only
child from his mother, he had two half sisters from his father, Shadonna
and Jessica.
Michael leaves to mourn his passing the following people: Brenda L. Scott
(Mother), Ellen I. Swann (Aunt), Stephen O. Scott (Uncle), Dwight L.
Scott (Uncle), John F. Swann Sr. (Uncle); first cousins, John F. Swann Jr.,
Ellen I. I. Swann, Damien A. Scott; second cousins, Makai, Keone and
Kalil (twins) and Javien; adopted sister, Latia; adopted brother, Darius;
half sisters, Shadonna and Jessica; a host of other relatives and friends.
