Michael T. Seeney, beloved son of Sarah Frances and Clifton Samuel Seeney was born on June 20th, 1952 at University Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The youngest of four children and the apple of his parents' eye. Younger brother to Cliff, Larry and Peggy. He adored his siblings and would visit his beloved sister Peggy every week just to catch up on life and reminisce of their childhood.
Michael was educated in the Baltimore County public school system and graduated from Woodlawn Sr. High School.He attended University of MD with studies in Business Administration.He also went on to attain his Certification in Computer Programming.
In 1976 he went into Flight Attendant Academy where he started his career as a Flight Attendant.Working for
US Airways for 26 years until his retirement.After his retirement he went on to work for Apple as computer programmer in his spare time. He also enjoyed playing his guitars and watching Orioles baseball and Ravens football. He also was a faithful member of Gaines Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Michael Seeney affectionately known as "Pop" by his children and grandkids was a family man.He moved to Halethorpe MD in 1975 where he raised his kids Tiana, Laeon and Brian in a loving home and community.And when he met and wed his devoted wife Kathleen of 32 years our family grew with even bigger with son Kirk and daughter Summer.He loved his wife and family very much.He worked and sacrificed so his family could have the best in life.He just wanted to see all his kids happy and successful.Unfortunately, he lost his adoring son Brian at an early age, but he always kept his spirit with him.And he devoted his life to taking care of Brian's sonRussell Devache.
Pop was happiest when he spent time with his friends and family.Especially his beloved Grandchildren.He always was at their school events cheering them on or taking them shopping just because he loved to spend quality time with them.They always were happy to see Pop because he was just that loving and the best Pop a kid could be blessed to have in their life.
He was loved and admired by all that he encountered.Pop was everyone's Father figure, Uncle, Brother, Son or best friend.Pop had a kind word for everyone and was always so giving of himself to all those he loved.
Michael departed this life on May 1st, 2021 after a long-fought battle with complications from illness.
As Michael passes from this life to join his beloved Mother Sarah, Father Clifton Samuel, Brother Clifton Isaiah,and son Brian Michael who preceded him in death.He leaves behind his devoted wife Kathleen; 2 sons Laeon and Kirk; 2 daughters Tiana and Summer; devoted sister Peggy; brother Lawrence; grandchildren Russell, Shayla, Joaquin, Justin, Yazmyne, Ysabella, Olivia and Oriana; and lifelong best-friend Keith Reed; and a host of other great- grandkids, nieces and nephews., other relatives and friends.
