Michael Andre Thompson, son of the late Vermell Thompson and the late Doretha Thompson was born December 8, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Monday December 28, 2020 at Franklin Square Hospice and Palliative Care Center.

Michael, affectionately known to his family and friends as "Big Mike", was educated in the Baltimore City Public School systems. He went on to marry his first love, Deborah Jackson, from that union they had three sons Antoine, Marlon and Michael. Michael resided and maintained several careers in the Baltimore area. He remarried Margaret Thompson and relocated to Florida, where he worked as a Manager for United Collection Bureau as well as Allied Interstate. Michael was a huge lover of music and sports, enjoyed traveling and meeting new people.

Michael was proceeded in death by his son Marlon Thompson, his parents Vermell and Doretha Thompson, sister Sheila Thompson, and brother Tyrone Thompson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons Antoine Thompson and Michael Thompson, brothers Vermell Thompson Jr., Anderson D. Thompson, Anthony Thompson and sister Yvette Racks; 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
