Michelle La 'Shawn Humphrey, A Thirteen pound infant was born March 11,1979 to her proud parents Nedrick and Marsha Humphrey. She departed this life on Friday January 17th at 12:52 pm at Saint Agnes Hospital. Michelle was ten years younger than her next sibling. Growing up Michelle was a happy yet clumsy, very outspoken and opinionated young lady. She graduated from Woodlawn Senior High School and attended the Community College of Baltimore receiving her certificate in early childhood education. Michelle was employed by La 'Petite Learning Center for a number of years. She enjoyed working with little children and was quite gifted in arts in crafts. On December 24, 2002 Michelle gave birth to her beautiful miracle child Jacora whom she loved and adored. Michelle wanted to travel but her failing health did not allow for much traveling. She and Jacora did get to take a cruise but ended up in a Canadian hospital for several months. Like her mother Michelle was very independent and enjoyed introducing her daughter to many new experiences. Where Michelle went Jacora was sure to follow. Michelle had her father's tenacity and her mother's love for life. When her health permitted Michelle and acora enjoyed attending church services. Preceding her in death; her mother Marsha Humphrey. Michelle leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Nedrick Humphrey Sr. (Valerie); her daughter Jacora Franklin; one sister Monique Humphrey; brothers Nedrick Humphrey and Keon Rice Linnion Wilson; four aunts, Patricia Owens, Lennore Morris, Marie Hodges and last but not least her favorite Aunt Vonter Dailey; six nieces, Erica, Ebony, Stephanie, Jazmine, Nnenaya, and Nesiah; four great nieces, Bella, Kamya, Asa, and Carlie; two nephews, Eric and Ismail; two great nephews, Steven and Jayden; her special friends, Rochelle, Racqual, Macada, Kia, and Shakia; and a host of other close cousins and friends.
