Mildred Elizabeth Hall was born on November 14,1934 to the late Edward and Ruth Diggs. Mildred transitioned to Heaven on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
Mildred affectionately known as (Sissy), was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She later went on to receive her training as a Nursing Assistant and dedicated herself to helping others in the health care profession for many years.
Mildred confessed her faith in Christ and joined Cornerstone Church of Christ under the leadership of the late Dr. Rev. Logan Kearse in Baltimore, Maryland where she served as an.usher.
Mildred devoted her life to raising her 9 children and any grandchildren that she could help with. She was a mother that never questioned our decisions in life and she always supported our dreams. Mildred (Sissy) was not only a loving mother to her children, she was a mother figure to many, and her doors were always open for any help that she could give.
Mildred (Sissy) loved cooking and crocheting blankets for her love ones. She was known throughout the family as the best babysitter around. She enjoyed watching football games and drinking her Pepsi. She loved the Ravens as long as they was not playing the Steelers.
Upon her transition to heaven, she resided at Future Care (Irvington), where she was loved and will truly be missed. We know without a doubt she would want to thank all the caregivers that showered her with so much love, especially (Ms. Angie) whom held a special place in her heart.
Mildred (Sissy) was proceeded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Diggs; 3 brothers, Mitchell, Samuel (Sonny), Norm (Bunny); 2 sisters, Thelma (Bootzy) and Brenda; 2 sons, John (Jackie) and Joseph (Joe).
Mildred (Sissy) leaves to cherish her memories: her 5 sons, Claude (Edith), Clarence (Eyvette), Jihad, Marvin and Kevin; 2 daughters, Karyl (Vernon) and Alisa (Reginald); 1 brother, John (Jean); 1 sister, Dorothy; 31 grand- children and 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
