Millard Tweedy, Son of the late

Smith and Gussie Tweedy was born on June

24, 1964. He departed this life on August 26,

2019 after a lengthy illness.

Millard received his education in the Balti-

more City Public School System. At age 25,

he attended barber school and began his ca-

reer as a barber. He was known to give hair-

cuts to anyone who needed them. He

branched off from work as a barber and took

an interest in landscaping, making sure his

neighbors received proper lawn care.

Millard was well known in his Northeast Bal-

timore neighborhood, bringing laughter to all

who knew him. He preferred to be called

Tweedy and enjoyed walking through his

neighborhood, getting to know everyone.

Millard was preceded in death by his parents

Smith and Gussie Tweedy; one sister, Doro-

thy Hicks, and one brother Douglas Tweedy.

He leaves to cherish his memory, One daugh-

ter, Tenisha Smith; son, Devin Tweedy; Two

grandchildren Amon and Ashtynn Smith; two

sisters, Jacqueline and Corliss Tweedy; two

brothers Reginald and Marc Tweedy; and

many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His presence will truly be missed!
